Blue Tick George Breaks Track Record

08 June 2021

A phenominal run in the ARC Grand Prix Semi Final saw Jim Daly's Blue Tick George smash a 25 year old track record at 640m with a blistering 38.95.

The previous record, set in 1995 by Autumn Tiger, stood at 38.97, was one of the longest standing records in the country.

George, owned by the Blue Tick Syndicate, goes into next weeks final as the hot favourite but will face stiff competition from the northern contingent of Coolavanny Bani and former Classic winner Velvet Juliet.
